The Project Outline
In May 2018, the Queensland Government announced its commitment to deliver a new $150 million theatre on the Playhouse Green site co-located with and operated by QPAC.
The New Performing Arts Venue (NPAV) will deliver a minimum 1500 seat theatre to meet existing audience and producer demand and support continued growth of performing arts in Queensland.
We where engaged by the fabricating contractor to help deliver the Level 8 Plant Room which consisted of over 200t of steel, we provided steel detailing in Tekla as well as on going coordination in Trimble connect as there was other sources providing Precast detailing which all needed to be coordinated in one model. Our deliverables included 3D modelling, Marking plan, fabrication shop drawings, NC data & reports.
