Birnam Range Water Tank

Birnam range water tank rehabilitation & roof replacement project required a full-service package from the team including steel detailing, 3D Laser Scanning & Site set out. While the team initially started reviewing the drawings our 3d laser scanning team made their way to the site to carry our scanning using our Trimble X7 of the existing tank perimeter and internal concrete columns so we could align our model exactly with what was existing. Once we were able to overlay and align the new steel, we were able to complete steel detailing and fabrication drawings. Once we received approval back based on our drawings, we then turned our focus to heading back to site to set out all the bolt locations to enable our client to have a smooth installation on site.
